Pune – Patvardhan Wada – Sangli

In the morning start the journey from Pune and proceed towards Sangli to visit Patvardhan Wada which is also known as Sangli Fort. After visiting Patvardhan Wada check-in to hotel and freshen up. Later in the evening visit to Shri Ganpati Panchayatan Mandir. Return back to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 01

Sangli – Panhala – Bawdekar Wada – Kolhapur

After b/f, check-out from hotel and proceed towards Panhala Fort – captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the 17th century. Shivaji Maharaj used Panhala as a royal residence and military base, leveraging its strategic location to defend against Mughal advances. The fort served as a crucial point in the Maratha Empire's defense system, allowing Shivaji Maharaj to monitor enemy movements and plan military campaigns effectively. Noteworthy structures within the fort include the elegant Ambabai Temple, the Dakhani Mahal, and the charming lotus-shaped Cisterns that highlight the ingenuity of Maratha architecture. After visiting Panhala Fort proceed towards Kolhapur. En-route visit Bawdekar Wada in Gaganbawda - an historical house converted into museum. Arrival in Kolhapur, check-in to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 02

Kolhapur – Ambabai Temple – Samangad Fort – Kolhapur

After b/f, visit Ambabai Temple and proceed towards Samangad Fort - built in the 17th century by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It served as a strategic military outpost to control the surrounding areas and protect trade routes.  The fort is known for its impressive architecture and fortifications, showcasing Maratha engineering skills. Samangad functioned as a storage and supply depot for the Maratha forces, aiding in the logistics of warfare. It played a role in the strategic planning of military campaigns. In the evening return back to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 03

Kolhapur – Pargad Fort – Kolhapur

After b/f, left the hotel and proceed towards Pargad Fort - built in 1665 by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is strategically located near the coastal regions and associated with the legendary warrior Tanaji Malusare. It played a crucial role in establishing maratha power in the Konkan Region. In the evening return back to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 04

Kolhapur – Shahu Palace – Pune

After b/f, check-out from hotel and visit Shahu Palace. In the afternoon start your return journey to Pune. Tour conclude.
