Saurya-Dwaj Raigad

Departure from Nashik at 6:00 AM. Arrival at Pachad by 5:30 PM via Pune. A 1-hour session on the "Shaurya-Dhwaj Raigad" Mohim (mission) followed by dinner and rest. Overnight stay.

(Early morning tea and breakfast at 5:30 AM. The mission will begin near Chitta Darwaza at 6:00 AM).

Sightseeing: Chitta Darwaza, Nedhe (Waghbil), the ancient mango grove, Nane Darwaza, Hirakani Cliff (distant view), Madar Morcha, Mahadarwaza, Hatti Talao, Shirkai Devi Temple, Hatti Khana, Holicha Maal, Mahajan Peth Hujur Bazaar, Jagadishwar Temple, the memorial of Maharaj, Hiroji Indalkar’s step, reading of the inscriptions on Raigad, Kavi Bhushan’s residence (from here you will be shown various points like Bhavani Kadaa, Rajgad, Torna, Kaivalya Fort, Lingana Fort, etc.). Afterwards, visit Nagarkhana, Rajsadar, Diwan-e-Aam (detailed explanation of the coronation ceremony), Diwan-e-Khas (information about the throne), Maharaj's residence, Raigad's coin mint, Queen's Palace, treasury, towers, Ashtapradhan houses, and Gangasagar Lake etc. Return to the base via the ropeway and then head back to Pachad.

(At 7:00 AM, take the ropeway to Raigad for further sightseeing).

Sightseeing: Hirakani Cliff bastion, Punde’s residence, water tanks, reservoirs, Kushavarta Lake, Wadeshwar Temple, Moropant Peshwa's residence, Queen's bathing house, memorials of Yesaji Kank and Moropant Pingale, Wagh Darwaza, Potlya Hill, Bhavani Cliff, Bhavani Temple, Henry Oxenden’s residence, Barah Tanke, and the ammunition storage. Return to the base via the ropeway and then head back to Pachad. Dinner and group activities in the evening.

At 8:00 AM, check out from the hotel and visit Jijau Memorial in Pachad, Pachad Kot Fort, Gangawali village (birthplace of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj), and Kinjaloli village (memorial of Murarbaji). Proceed to Nashik via Pune and arrive by 10:00 PM. Mohim (mission) conclude.
